SERIAL NUMBER 39690 BARREL 24″ CALIBER 38-40 WCF, MANUFACTURED 1895. Produced by Winchester, Winchester 1892 rifle with 24 ” round barrel chambered for 38-40 with straight grained American walnut stocks and crescent butt plate. Finish has toned to dove grey on receiver and mottled blue mixed with patina on barrel and magazine. Stocks are full sized and moderately worn with mixture impressions and minor chipping at toe. Bore is very fine with very strong rifling and very minor frosting in grooves. Action operates properly. ANTIQUE
