MINT PROGRAMS
Between the years 1999-2008, the Mint released five quarters with the reverse side honoring each of the 50 states in the order that they were admitted into the Union. Proof sets for years 2000-2008 contain the Sacagawea Dollar. There were two Nickels released in 2004 and 2005. In 2007 the Mint started the “Presidential Dollar Coin” program featuring each Presidents likeness on the obverse of the coin as well as their term in office. The year 2008 of the set includes four Presidential Dollar coins.
Proof sets made between 1999-2008 have up to 14 coins and are comprised of a Cent, Dime, Nickel/Nickels, Half Dollar, five Quarters, and the Dollar/Dollars for the year.
